RAPT

STRUCTURAL CONCRETE DESIGN
'A Comprehensive Computer Package for the Design of reinforced and Prestressed Concrete Structures'

SPECIFICATIONS

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

RAPT is recommended for IBM compatible PC's with at least 1 Megabyte of RAM, and 40 Mb of Harddisk storage. Minimum suggested processor level is 80286. Performance is considerably improved with a higher level processor and appropriate co-processor.

GRAPHICS

RAPT utilizes graphics for display of input geometry, loading and reinforcement data. Cable profiles, bending moment and shear diagrams, reinforcement requirements, section capacities under ultimate and service load conditions, shear reinforcement and capacities and deflections are displayed in high resolution graphics allowing zooming and detailed data at all points.

INPUT

Input is interactive, with spreadsheet style entries. Commonly used parameters are defaulted. The entire package is menu driven with logical datachecks at all input stages. The user is prompted for non-default information.

UNITS

RAPT fully incorporates the International (SI), the Metric and American Systems of units.

OUTPUT

Output is selective, with several editing and formatting options. Reports are suitable as stand-alone computations with all input data summarized.

MANUAL

A detailed manual is included with references to the appropriate codes. Step by step examples are provided with interpretation and explanation of input screens and output reports. A theory section comprehensively explains and assumptions and methodology adopted in RAPT, and gives methods for hand-worked verifications solutions

VERSION UP DATES

New features are constantly being added to RAPT in response to specific user requirements, and to accommodate code revisions and technical updates. Updates are available on order or with the RAPT maintenance programme.
